I'm Samantha!

I am a recent college graduate who discovered my passion for portrait photography in high school, which blossomed during my time in undergrad. Despite initial attempts to set it aside, photography remained a constant in my life for those 4 years. My college journey of photographing advertising campaigns, editorial work, journalistic work, campus events, headshots, and my personal photography practice culminated in a realization: I want to pursue this seriously post-grad! This epiphany led me to my current focus on wedding and elopement photography.

 

I believe that photographs are portals that unlocks your vibrant memories of your grand, special day, and tender intimate moments with loved ones. Your soulmate, your family, your best friends, and your community.  I love to capture those visceral feelings and moments that make life dreamy.

To be able to photograph someone is a privilege and a deeply intimate act that can be invasive when done without care, and I am always thankful for my clients, friends, and family who allow and trust me to explore this visual intimacy with them.​
